These days, most of discrimination between different genders has been perished. There are some countries that support the entry of women in public affairs also, pushes ahead with women's political appointments. Especially, I would like to talk about Prime Minister Boiko M. Borisov of Bulgaria, a thick – necked former karate instructor, bodyguard and onetime fireman, might seem an unlikely feminist.
‘’Women are more diligent than men, and they don’t take long lunches or go to the bar,’’ insisted Mr. Borisov, who has cited his mother and who has cited his mother and Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany as his role model. Mr. Borisov’s perspective for women is promoting women to the high social status. ‘‘Women have stronger characters than men because when they say no they mean no, and they are less corruptible,’’ he said last summer, inaugurating the women’s wing of his center-right party.
Chief Karmen says “there was no women investigation case for the political corruptness before” Also, the research shows that the women who choose to run for the police work show more cleanness on the lie detecting test than men. Yordanka Fandakova who was elected on the Meyer of Sophia for the recommendation of Borisov was criticized by her political opponent. He says “She is just a follower of Borisov”. But she overcame these criticisms and she won on the Meyer election. Now she is highly valued by citizens.
However, there is an objection “women tend to corrupt as much as men do, but they never were proved”. This means if women make a close connection between them, they will be corrupted just like men do. Robin Hodess, head of policy at Transparency International is one of them who insist the objection. Hodess asserted “It is important to bring women into politics, not as a hammer to fight corruption, but to fight gender inequality.
Not everyone in Bulgaria is convinced of the wisdom of promoting women in politics. One psychologist claimed “Promoted women have no trouble to follow the order.” Women were promoted due to they have a great royalty for the country besides, they were not malicious. Also, Minko Gerdjikov, the deputy mayor, said the promoting women to powerful positions could prove a liability at a time of crisis.
In my opinion, I am not sure that promoting women in politics is going to work for the development of the country. I wonder that promoting women is for the gender equality, for the hammering of corruption, because of they have great power or they just follow the order without any objection.I hope to this policy is useful for everyone. So, no one can feel the loneliness and discrimination.
